Dairy-Free Sausage Gravy


1 package Jimmy Dean’s sausage
2 tbsp Bisquick
1 tbsp lard
2 cups almond milk
1 tsp Crystal hot sauce (optional)


Brown the sausage, breaking it up into small pieces. Add the lard; let melt. Add Bisquick to make a roue. Slowly stir in almond milk, allowing mixture to thicken. Add hot sauce, if desired. Serve over biscuits or toast.
Serves 4-5
